Tomboy Note Sharing (work in progress)

Over the last week, I've been hacking on some ideas I've had for sharing+synchronizing notes in Tomboy (one of the most-wanted features). I thought I'd throw out a quick demo (click here to view it) of what I have working in my office this morning (5 MB SWF file).

Before you jump to any conclusions, please read the following:

As I stated (maybe not clearly enough), one of the design goals for this is to make it dirt simple to do. Hopefully it's well on the way of being simple. But, I know there will be all kinds of opinions on how it should be done. So, I'd welcome any feedback and such, but keep in mind that too many options makes a GUI confusing!

I haven't created a patch file yet since I know what I have needs to be cleaned up and is not really ready for check-in. If you're interested in the code, I'll post random tarballs here.

Very cool. Hmm, would it be able possible to build on this and maybe use a Wiki server ( i.e. mediawiki) as web based repository? I.e. allow tomboy to tomboy sync, as well as a tomboy to mediawiki sync for specific aricles/notes that are flagged for sync in tomboy.
