New Icons

Kudos to Ryan Collier for giving iFolder a needed facelift. The new icons are being used in the iFolder Linux Client and are checked-in to the 3.4 branch and Trunk.

GConf added to Linux Client

I spent a couple days last week and changed the iFolder Linux Client to use GConf for user settings. I was surprised to have a revolt about it from a couple people on the team. In my mind, we are now a nice Gnome app. I guess those against Gnome will likely be against this change.

One cool thing I added in is the ability to prefill account information. What this means is that if an administrator were to roll out the iFolder Client to a bunch of Linux machines, he/she could populate the iFolder Server Address and the User Name. The first time the user opens iFolder, all the account information is already filled in and all they have to do is type in their password. Voila! They're configured!
