Becoming He-man

Our landscaping projects this year are sure to turn me into He-Man. On Saturday, I hefted eighteen 6" x 6" x 8' landscaping timbers to build some garden boxes. Let me tell you, these things are HEAVY! I'm just glad they're built and I won't have to move them (I hope).

Relaxation in Paradise

Thanks to my wife, who planned everything, I got a break from pretty much all of life's normal commitments and spent a week relaxing instead. We went on a direct flight from SLC to Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was amazing!

And now for the trip highlights:

• Relaxing on a sweet beach
• Flying in a doors-off helicopter over the Pu'u O'o Volcanic Vent!
• Eating some delicious (unfortunately pretty pricey) food with amazing sunset views
